Puppy Feed
Which feed from your range should my 14 week old german shepherd puppy be getting, and how long should I be feeding this?
Now that your puppy has reached 14 weeks old he is ready to move on to Chudleys Junior. This feed has been formulated for young growing dogs to provide them with a fully balanced diet and ensures that their diet is meeting their specific nutrient requirements at this stage in their life.
Once your puppy is fully grown*, which for a German Shepherd should be when he reaches about 12 months old, he is then ready to move on to one of the adult feeds from the Chudleys range.
You should introduce Chudleys Junior to your puppy gradually, over a period of 5-7 days, until it replaces the previous food completely to help prevent the change in feed from upsetting his stomach. A 14 week old German Shepherd puppy will require approximately 350-500g of Chudleys Junior per day, according to his body condition, split into at least 2 feeds per day. Ideally you should aim to be able to run your hand over his side and feel his ribs quite easily but without actually being able to see them. Chudleys Junior can be fed dry or moistened with water or gravy according to the consistency that your dog prefers.
