Richard MacNicol has won the Pointer Club of Scotland Open Stake at Cawdor Estate, with his Pointer bitch Field Trial Champion Kissing Kate of Gerensary, pet name Star. This event has been sponsored by Chudleys for many years.

Richard commented, "Star is 3 years old and she was made up to a field trial champion in her first season last year where she won the Scottish Field Trial Association Open Stake at Corrybrouch Estate in Inverness-shire. She then went on to win the International Gundog League Open Stake at Blanchland in Northumberland which was quite an achievement for a young bitch and meant that she qualified for open stakes in her puppy year.

I was disappointed that I could not run her in the British Champion stake in 2008 as I was asked to judge at the event, which is a great honour. I look forward to running Star this year in the Champion Stake at Ballihope in Northumberland.

I am also delighted to report that Star’s sister is a Field Trial Champion, she is owned by Mr Laurence McAlistar from Northern Ireland and her brother who is owned by Mr Wilson Young qualified this spring to run in open stakes."

All of Richard’s dogs are fed on Chudleys Working Crunch.

Chudleys would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Richard and Star and wish them continued success.
