Dogs that need rehoming
The Give a Dog a Home campaign will feature working breeds from four dog rescue charities nationwide, and we hope that many rewarding partnerships will be forged as a result. If you are considering offering a home to any of the dogs featured, please contact the individual organisations directly using the contact details provided next to each dog; all applications will be thoroughly vetted.
The campaign will run until Spring 2013, and we'll be updating the page then with the dogs that have been rehomed. In the meantime if you'd like to see how the dogs featured in the last campaign are getting on, please click the "See the dogs that are now rehomed" button above.

An experienced spaniel owner who can keep her on a nutritionally balanced diet, with lots of walks to keep fit, would be a great fresh start for her. An older family with no other pets is preferred, although she is fine with visiting children.

She craves attention so would prefer to be an only pet. She walks well on the lead and travels contentedly in a car. Nina is spayed and up to date with her injections.

Mad Annie, now known as Princess Annie, has been successfully rehomed to a young couple, and settled in very well.
The couple did return to the Trust with Annie, but only to show off how happy the three of them were. She was full of life; her coat was shining and she was sporting a lovely new blue coat. Annie adored her new Dad and goes to work with him.

We have had Ben 4 months now and thought it was about time we gave you a wee update on how he is doing.
Ben had a long journey from Kilmarnock to Aberdeen, then a 12 hour boat trip to the Shetland Isles. It did not seem to phase him as he was bouncing about still when we eventually got him home.
He has settled in great now and even gets on with the cat, Isla! He loves playing ball, but we have discovered he has a VERY sweet tooth. Especially Thorntons toffee, which we carelessly left at dog height at Christmas time.
He loves to lie on the couch with us all in the evenings, and in the mornings he enjoys rolling about on the bed. He loves his walks over the hills and on the beach and has made a lot of friends in the village. He is looking forward to his first family holiday in Dunkeld at Easter. Ben fits in perfectly with our family, you would think he had been here forever. Thanks to everybody at SRS for all your help.
