2018 was a spectacular year for the Chudleys Gundog Championship. Almost half the finalists were women, which was a momentous occasion considering just a few short years ago it was almost exclusively a male line up for the final. It was also the first year the Pip Watson Memorial Trophy was awarded to the top lady handler. This went to Vicky Stanley who also finished the championship as runner up.

After a tense showdown it was Brody Chequer with Dave that scored the quickest time and was awarded the Chudleys Gundog Champion title of 2018. The winning duo went home with a staggering £2,000, a bottle of Chudleys sloe gin, a winning rosette and an engraved trophy.

To see if your dog has what it takes, why not join us for fun and competition at the first qualifying round taking place at the Kelmarsh Country Show in Northamptonshire on the 21st & 22nd April.
