CHUDLEYS CHAMPION WINNER FREYA KENNEDY DONATES CHUDLEYS PRIZE FEED TO SPRINGER RESCUE SCOTLAND

From March until December 2016, Chudleys hosted a social media-driven photo competition to find and crown the ultimate Chudleys Champion.

When the competition went to the public vote in December 2016, Freya Kennedy, who submitted a ‘Senior Moments’ photo of springer spaniel Willow, won the competition with over 300 votes.

The prize package included a Seeland Woodcock outfit, luxury hamper filled with goodies and 40 bags of a Chudleys feed, of which 20 bags Freya kindly donated to a charity close to her heart, Springer Rescue Scotland.

Founded in 2008, Springer Rescue Scotland facilitates the rehoming and rescuing of springer spaniels as well as other spaniel breeds by putting in place and maintaining a process and network of volunteers to find homes for dogs.

Springer Rescue Scotland Foster Coordinator Helen commented:

“Our foster homes are the pinnacle point of the charity, without them we just couldn't rehome as many dogs as we do. The recent arrival of Chudleys when Springer Rescue Scotland supporter Freya and Willow donated 20 bags of Chudleys Salmon Maintenance has been a huge benefit to our foster homes and foster dogs.”
