EBONY DAVIES QUALIFIES FOR A THIRD YEAR IN THE JUNIOR HANDLER GRAND FINAL… COULD THIS BE HER YEAR?

The world of junior gundog handling has become increasingly popular over the years. Aimed at inspiring the next generation of gundog handlers through the spirit of competition, the Chudleys Junior Gundog Championship has been supportive of bringing the younger generation to the sport while identifying some of the UK’s top talent.

A true ambassador for Chudleys and the sport is young Junior Gundog handler, Ebony Davis, whose outstanding performance at the Broadlands Country Show saw her take top spot and qualify for the Grand Final to be held at The Midland Game Fair in September.

Delighted with the result, Ebony will now compete for the third consecutive year and hopes to draw on her past experience to challenge for the prestigious top spot and be crowned the 2018 Junior Handler Champion.

Partnered by her family and trusty black Labrador, Ziva, Ebony’s time was so good she could have also qualified in the open!

For Ebony, participating in the sport of Gundog Scurries is a true family affair. Armed with her parents, grandparents and auntie along with that infectious smile, Ebony is certainly one to watch for the future of our sport. Not only that, she also has her very own Gundog, Amber.
