KEVIN WARBURTON AND LABRADOR ECHO CLAIM 2017 BASC CHUDLEYS SCURRY LEAGUE WINNING TITLE

The long-awaited 2017 BASC Chudleys Scurry League Final took place on Saturday 16th September 2017 at the Midland Game Fair, Weston Park.

Since March 2017, 9 qualifying events have taken place at country shows and game fair’s throughout the UK, with handlers and gundogs battling it out for a place in the final. The top 20 competitors in the league table with the most points throughout the year gathered at the final over the weekend to compete for the winning title.

Congratulations to 2017 BASC Chudleys Scurry League Champion Kevin Warburton with Labrador Echo who triumphed with a clear lead of 92 points. The duo walked away with sought-after prizes including the Scurry League Trophy, a year’s supply of Chudleys feed, Lintran dog box, Sherlocks Dog Kennel, game bags from Ogdens, Jack Pyke clothing, Sporting Saint dummy launcher and a Tuffies dog bed.
